Bellefonte's Stage at Talleyrand Takes Shape with HLA-Led Team and Donor Support

July 2022

This is long overdue, but we wanted to wait until there was a bit more clarity for the bandshell. We are happy to fill you in on the latest from the Stage At Talleyrand (SAT).

The SAT committee hired our architect/build team, which is being led by Michael Leakey of Hoffman Leakey Architects LLC, a firm headquartered here in Bellefonte. HLA understands the vision that is largely based on input we received from our community stakeholder meetings. Nested in this newsletter are a few artistic renderings/ conceptual drawings of the project, set in the approximate area within the park.

We are pleased to let you know that all 4 items in our first newsletter have been achieved and we are now moving forward with finalizing the design, gathering cost estimates, and executing our plan to attract donors while determining the best strategies for raising the necessary funds for the SAT.

As this project moves forward to the next stage, we will keep you informed on how you can help in fundraising efforts. For now, we are hopeful you will continue to be enthusiastic about this initiative.

If you have questions on this or future project stages, please email us here or visit our booth at the remaining Summer Sounds in the Gazebo in Talleyrand Park on Sunday nights. Members of the committee will be there to answer questions and discuss the project.

This has and will continue to be a community effort, one that relies on the input and generosity of not only Bellefonte but all of Centre County and beyond.

We very much look forward to hearing from you. Thank you.
