the GOAL

To acquire funding for, design, and build an outdoor performance venue that will:

​

  • Expand upon the current features of Talleyrand Park to attract additional tourism to Centre County.

  • Improve the quality and acoustics of musical and theatrical performances.

  • Build new opportunities for performing artists to collaborate and showcase their talents with audiences and each other.

  • Deliver accessible performing arts programming to all Centre County citizens.

  • Attract performing artists from a wide spectrum of ages and abilities and welcome a wide variety of audiences.

  • Create a new space for larger audiences to gather together outside, and at a distance when necessary.

Any funds raised in excess of our building goal will be directed to an endowment earmarked for facility maintenance and programming.

  • BHCA's Summer sounds music series

  • Open-air theatrical performances from both professionals and students

​​

  • Special concert series produced by non-profits or private entities

​​

  • Orchestral performances by local symphonies

​​

  • Expand or add value to current community events, like the Bellefonte arts fest, Outdoor adventure Expo, movies in the park, or Tasting Trail Expo
