Bellefonte, PA - The Stage at Talleyrand Committee is pleased to announce the awarding of a 1 million dollar grant towards the design and build for a state-of-the-art venue for a performing arts in Talleyrand Park. The grant has been generously provided by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED).
The Stage at Talleyrand Committee has been working tirelessly to build support for a venue that will enhance the cultural and economic landscape of the region. The open-air performing arts stage will provide a space for concerts, plays, dance performances, and other cultural events that will attract visitors from near and far.
"We are thrilled to receive this grant from the PA DCED," said committee co-chairperson, Rick Jacobs. "This grant will allow us to move forward with the construction of The Stage At Talleyrand (SAT) and provide the community with a much-needed space for cultural events. We are grateful for the hard work of Representative Kerry Benninghoff and his team as well as the support from DCED and look forward to making The Stage At Talleyrand a reality."
The construction of The Stage At Talleyrand will be an exciting development for the region. It will not only provide a space for cultural events, but it will also have a positive impact on the local economy. The venue will attract visitors and increase tourism. It will also serve as a welcoming structure as visitors enter Bellefonte on Water Street.
